Inaugurated simultaneously to the permanent exhibition Quadra 27, composed of reproductions of sketches, project drawings and photographs that reconstitute part of the history of Praça das Artes’ construction, the group show Concretude Correlata establishes a dialogue with the ideals of the architectonic project of the Praça – one of the beacons of the present artistic programme of the institution.

Caio Reisewitz (São Paulo, 1967), João Luiz Musa (São Paulo, 1951) and Rochelle Costi (Caxias do Sul, 1961) are three of the participating artists in the show, exclusively composed of pieces from the collection of the Museu da Cidade. The works have in common the representation of architectures, from inner spaces to façades, sometimes uninhabited, sometimes croweded with information and traces of occupation.

Concretude Correlata can be visited at Praça das Artes from June 24th to August 28th, 2016. For more information, please visit the exhibition’s webpage.
