The Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil – São Paulo (Cultural Center of Brazil - São Paulo), brings, from the 2nd of November, the exhibition Héctor Zamora | Dinâmica não linear, the first major institutional exhibition dedicated to the work of Mexican artist Héctor Zamora (1974, Mexico City) based in Lisbon, Portugal.
Curated by Jacopo Crivelli Visconti, organized and produced by Scult | Consultance, coordinated by Base7 Cultural Projects, the exhibition will occupy the entire building of the CCBB SP, bringing an overview of the artist's production between 2000 and 2016. There will be 24 works, including video installations, drawings, three-dimensional sculptures of concrete and bricks, photos, activity logs and a large-scale performance called Ruptura, designed especially for the CCBB-SP´s space where the work will be held.
The presence of works of different moments of the artist is intended, by the curator, to show constant concerns of Zamora´s poetics, particularly how geometric shapes, initially rigids and abstracts, become vehicles of spontaneous interaction or reflection on the functioning of social structures.
The exhibition can be seen until the 2nd of January, 2017. For more information, please visit the institution´s website
