From February 3rd the EACC (Espai d'Art Contemporani de Castelló) in Barcelona presents the first individual exhibition of Raphaël Zarka (Monpellier, 1977) in Spain.

Entitled Espai Pavimentat (Paved Space) the exhibition presents a selection of images from the series Riding Modern Art and a new site specific version of the work Riding Schoenflies 329 designed exclusively for the space.

In Espai Pavimentat the artist replaces the questioning about the dimensions of form and function in the contemporary debate. The artistic practice of Raphaël Zarka dialogues with the skateboarding universe, encouraging the participation of skaters in the exhibition.
