Tomie Ohtake presents until May 28th the exhibition O céu ainda é azul, você sabe…(The sky remains blue, you know…). Curated by Gunnar B. Kvaran, an Icelandic critic and the director of the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art, the exhibition features a retrospective of Yoko Ono’s production, bringing together in the institute about 65 works of the artist from the Instruction series.
Among the selected works that compose the show is "Water Events" (1971), where Yoko Ono invites other artists to create pieces that should be dedicated to a social cause. For the occasion Regina Silveira (Porto Alegre, 1939) developed the new work "Matar a Sede", 2017.
The exhibition "O céu continua azul, voce sabe" remains on view until May 28th. For more information please visit the institution's website.
