Héctor Zamora (Mexico City, 1974) participates in the 4th Ural Industrial Biennial, which will be inaugurated on September 14th in Ural (Russia).
The event's theme, New Literacy, explores the concept of the so called 4th Industrial Revolution, where artificial intelligence is often employed and, consequently, influences our current ways of living, dreaming and creating.
Taking place in up to 28 cities, the event involves 70 artists coming from 20 countries, each invited by curator João Ribas to present works that relate with the main theme. As part of the Artist-in- Residence program of the Ural Biennial, Hector Zamora creates a sound performance at the Instrument-Making Plant in collaboration with Sverdlovsk Railways and Ural Locomotives plant which will take place on September 12th an 13th.
