ArtRio 2024
Luciana Brito Gallery is preparing for ArtRio 2024 with a group of over 70 artworks, with a highlight on the Brazilian artists Gabriela Machado and Regina Silveira. While Gabriela Machado is presenting a selection of 22 paintings, Regina Silveira is showing around 30 porcelain objects produced over the last 25 years. On this occasion, the gallery is also presenting works by Chilean artist Antonio Pichillá, the newest addition to its roster of represented artists, as well as pieces by American artist Rob Wynne, who in October will present the exhibition Always Sometimes at the gallery, his first show in Brazil.
The gallery is also presenting historical photographs by Gaspar Gasparian and Thomaz Farkas. The latter is the focus of a special program called “Viva Thomaz Farkas” [Long Live Thomaz Farkas], celebrating the 100th anniversary of his birth. The program includes exhibitions at Luciana Brito Gallery, Instituto Moreira Salles (São Paulo), and the Museu da Imagem e do Som (Fortaleza). The artists Afonso Tostes, Bosco Sodi, Caio Reisewitz, Delson Uchôa, Estúdio Campana, Iván Navarro, Héctor Zamora, and Manuel Chavajay are also featured in Luciana Brito Galeria’s booth at the fair.
