Tiago Tebet

Tiago Tebet’s practice is fundamentally rooted in painting, which he continually reinvents through unconventional materials and techniques. His work stands out for the originality with which it explores the possibilities and particularities of representation in painting. Paisagem do infinito III (2025–2026) belongs to his most recent body of work, in which his paintings occupy the threshold between the visible and the invisible, the abstract and the figurative. Tebet approaches painting as a space of energetic resignification, constructing surfaces of color that oscillate between abstract autonomy and the suggestion of latent, invisible beings, creating an ambiguity that challenges the eye.
