artist-in-residence: Antonio Pichillá

Antonio Pichillá develops an experimental and multidisciplinary practice that weaves together contemporary abstraction with ancestral Mayan textile traditions. Deeply rooted in his Tz’utujil identity, his work explores the relationship between landscape, memory, and Indigenous cosmovision, bringing ancestral knowledge into the present. Pichillá joined dc art foundation in May 2026.
